We are a Christian congregation who meet together every Saturday (Sabbath) morning at the William Street Uniting Church. All visitors are most welcome to join us for our weekly Saturday morning programs.
Small Group Bible Study (known as Sabbath School)
Everyone is welcome to join us as we study the Bible together in small groups and share the experiences of the week with each other. From July to September we will be studying the book of Romans. Sabbath School starts at 9:30am and goes for approximately one hour.
Children's Sabbath School
Story and lesson time is provided for children.
Main Church Service
Come and praise God this week through song, prayer and an uplifting message, commencing at 11am.
Ministry Team The senior minister is Pastor John Denne, assisted by Rick Hergenhan. Pastor Denne and his wife, Lyn, were born in New Zealand. John comes from a business background but felt the call to ministry and trained at Avondale College from 1971. The Dennes have ministered in Qld, NZ, and Victoria before coming to NSW. Pastor Denne is the senior pastor of both Wallsend and Raymond Terrace churches. Lyn is head of primary at Macquarie College. Contact for Pastor Denne: 0419 786 007.
Rick Hergenhan grew up on a farm in Bega. He is a recent graduate from the ministry course at Avondale College and has a passion for working with youth. Wife Libby is a trained teacher; they have a baby son, Giles. Contact for Rick Hergenhan: 0418 656 949.
