We are a small Christian congregation who meet together every Saturday (Sabbath) morning at the William Street Uniting Church. We are always really pleased to have visitors with us for our weekly Saturday morning programs.
Small Group Bible Study (known as Sabbath School)
Everyone is welcome to join us as we study the Bible together and share the experiences of the week with each other. Sabbath School starts at 9:30am and goes for approximately one hour. The topic of study from January to March 2012 is aspects of God not commonly considered, such as God as a God of beauty, of history, and even of romance. We will be looking at prayer and ecology - we want to look at some of the practical aspects of what it means to serve our Lord. We will also be looking at God's great promise of the Second Coming, which leads to the climax of history and the end of humanity's horrible exerpience with sin.
Main Church Service
Come and praise God this week through song, prayer and an uplifting message, commencing at 11am. Minister Pastor Esava Koro is the minister of both Raymond Terrace and Maitland churches. If you have not experienced this you are welcome to come and participate or just observe.
On Sabbaths January 28 and February 4 we will be having a picnic after church. Bring along a folding chair and a picnic lunch and join us for fellowship by the river.
